QUICK RECAP OF ‘YOU’ AND EXPECTED PLOT FOR ‘YOU SEASON: 3’
The first season of YOU was based on the novel, YOU by Caroline Kepnes in 2014, which was premiered in Lifetime on Sept 9, 2018. In this part, the bookstore manager and a serial killer, Joe Goldberg, meets a writer, Guinevere Beck, in the bookstore and began to fall for her. He was so obsessed with her that he caged her which leads to the painful death of Miss Beck.
The second season of YOU was based on the novel, HIDDEN BODIES by Caroline Kepnes in 2016, which was premiered in Netflix on Dec 26, 2019. In this part, we have seen Joe Goldberg, moves to New York, and decided to change himself. He seems to be a normal person until he met a chef, Love Quinn, who is equally psychopathic as him, and starts getting obsessed with her too. The series again shows many serial killings.
In the end, we have seen that Love Quinn is pregnant maybe with Joe’s child. Joe decided to again move to another city with a different identity to start his life again but this with his child. But by the end, we have seen him looking to another woman, next door.
It is expected that the third part of the novel is completed by Caroline Kepnes, and she named that as YOU LOVE ME, so can expect the plotline from that book only.
