To begin with, a sequel to “A Quiet Place” is rescheduled to release on April 23, 2021. Rather than releasing on September 6, 2020. This upcoming film will star Emily Blunt & John Krasinski in it.
Whereas sequel to Tom Cruise’s 1986 classic, that is. Named “Top Gun: Maverick” (part: 2) which was earlier scheduled to December 23, 2020. Is now delayed by six months. And is rescheduled to July 2, 2021.

When were these films rescheduled
On July 23, 2020, Paramount Pictures officially announced the delay of these films. The president of the distribution company announced the delay. Paramount’s president Chris Aronson said-
“We positively consider that there is no film-watching adventure. The way we watch and enjoy on the big screen in theatres.”
Mark Viane, Chris Aronson’s colleague and the president of international theatrical division added-
“We the people are devoted to having a theatrical & dramatic experience. We request the audience to wait until the situation is under control. Besides, we assure everyone that as soon as the situation is under control. The audience will have and see the Paramount films in the theater on the big screen.”
Other details about the film delay
As soon as the Coronavirus outbreak began. Paramount’s A Quiet Place Part: 2 was one of the first films. That was pulled up from the premiere. Initially. the film was scheduled. to have a theatrical release on March 20, 2020. However, due to the increase in cases. Later was set to release on September 4, 2020. The production and distribution company hoped. And considered the theatres to resume all across North America. Yet, the cinemas will only reopen once the situation is under control.
Earlier this month on Thursday (July 23, 2020), the film is rescheduled to be premiered in the year 2021.
