And now Amazon studios come with the trailer of their new popular show The Lord Of The Rings: The Rings Of Power. Firstly they took their social media handle to make an announcement of the trailer and now it’s available to watch:

As we have known, in 2017 Amazon bought the TV rights to The Lord of the Rings worth $250 million, with a five-season production commitment of at least $1 billion. This makes it the most expensive television series. And now, The Rings of Power series is based primarily on addendums to The Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit film trilogy, including discussion of the Second Age, and is not a continuation as required by Amazon’s settlement with the Tolkien estate.

What Is The Release Date of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power?

Although Amazon prime will release two first episodes of “The Rings of Power” on 2nd September. By following the per-week release segment, each episode will release weekly on the streaming platform. According to sources, the filming for the first eight-episode took place in New Zealand, and the series was produced from February 2020 to August 2021, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, production hiatus of several months during that time. This would be the main reason behind the delay of this show. As well, fan eagerly waiting for the day when this show will hit our screen.

The Rings of Power ties together all the major stories of the Second Age of Middle-earth: The Creation of the Rings, The Rise of Darkness Lord Sauron, The Epic Tale of Númenor, and The Last Alliance of Elves and Men. Until now, audiences have only seen the story of One Ring on screen, but before there was One, there were many… and we are excited to share the epic story of all of them.”
