Rebecca is a British Romantic thriller and horror film, created by Ben Wheatly. This film is based on Daphne du Maurier’s novel Rebecca written in 1938. Working Title Films and Big Talk Pictures are the production houses of this movie. The upcoming movie is an adaptation of Alfred Hitchcock’s 1940 Oscar-winning movie.

The official channel of Netflix dropped the trailer of Rebecca on Youtube on Sept 8, 2020.
The production of the movie was started on June 3, 2019. The movie is all set to release in some selected theaters in October, where Corona Virus is controlled, and on Oct 21, 2020, worldwide on Netflix.
PLOT FOR ‘REBECCA’
The movie revolves around a newly married couple. The couple decided to move to the windswept English coast owned by the husband, Maxim, where her wife, Mrs. de Winter. She started her new phase of like there with her husband but eventually finds herself battling the shadow of his dead wife, Rebecca. Her haunting legacy is kept alive by Manderley’s sinister housekeeper Mrs. Danvers.

In the trailer, we see Mrs. Danvers telling the second wife, “I wonder what she would think of you, taking her beloved husband and using her name also”. She also added that Rebecca his dead wife was the love of Maxim’s life.
