Queen Sugar is an American dramatic television series of 2016, directed by Ava DuVernay. This television series is based on the novel by Natalie Baszile, 2014, which has a total of four seasons. The first season was released on Sept 6, 2016, followed by the release of the second, third and fourth season on June 20, 2017, May 29, 2018, and June 12, 2019, respectively.

PLOTLINE OF ‘QUEEN SUGAR: 5’
The film revolves around an African American family of three siblings. All three of them returned to Louisiana to take over the heritage of their late father. Three siblings include two sons Nova Bordelon, a journalist by profession, and another one Ralph Angel, an unemployed single father. They also have a sister named Charlie, who has a tricky relationship with her teen son. The reason for the name of the series is QUEEN SUGAR because of their late father lest 800 acres of sugarcane farm as his will.
By the end of season 4 finale, we have seen that Charlie realizes that she was used by Sam Landry for his own personal agenda, the family seems to unities, to face an uncertain future together. So, its exciting to see what other new problems they are going to face in season 5.
