This series is based on the Novel Locke and Key penned down by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez. In the first episode of the season one of the series was dropped on Feb 7, 2020, and further followed by ten episodes.

In our previous article of Locke and Key, we told you that the production of the second season of this series was paused due to the global pandemic, COVID-19. But now the makers have decided to start the production of the series from Sept 12, 2020, keeping all precautions in their mind for the safety of the cast and crew from the deadly coronavirus, and expected to finish the shooting by the end of March. The production is going to resume after six months after the release of the first season.
