Netflix has officially announced the release of a series named Cursed. The series Cursed is an upcoming American origin TV series created by Frank Miller & Tom Wheeler. In the series, the star Katherine Langford of the famous series 13 Reasons Why is seen in the main role. Besides, the series is based on the best-selling novel named the same, that is, “Cursed” by Tom Wheeler and Frank Miller.

Furthermore, the series is a re-construction of a fictional story of King Arthur through the eyes of teenage Nimue. In addition, the plot of the series focuses on Nimue, who is destined in life to become the Lady of the Lake. However, she is a very young woman with unknown mysterious magical powers with her.

Netflix officially released the first trailer of the series on June 18, 2020. Moreover followed by the second trailer on June 30, 2020. The second trailer was newer and has more action-packed details. However, the second trailer suggests a storyline of the series Cursed.

When will the series release?

The series Cursed is scheduled to be premiered on July 17, 2020, on Netflix. In addition, Cursed Season: 1 will have a total of 10 episodes in it.

The expected storyline from the trailer

The latest trailer of Cursed changed our perception and idea about the magic world. The series re-constructs the story of Nimue (Katherine Langford), a teenage girl who is the Lady of the Lake. The story has Nimue in the main focus with an objective to be done.

The trailer suggests that the life of Nimue is all set by her fate. The teenage Nimue gets Arthur as her unexpected partner after her mother’s death. She must team up with the young Arthur to deliver the special sword safely. The trailer of Cursed also reveals that Nimue and her partner are soon at the top of the most wanted list. They use magic, power & sword to win over their enemies, the Red Paladins.

However, through the storyline, she is also considered as a brave human and a rebellion against King Uther.
