The series Altered Carbon is an American origin web TV series. It is a cyberpunk type of series created by Laeta Kalogridis. This TV series is based on a 2002 novel named the same, that is, Altered Carbon by Richard K. Morgan.

Two seasons of the series are premiered till now. Firstly, Altered Carbon Season: 1 was released on February 2, 2018, with 10 episodes in it. At the climax of the second season, Takeshi Kovacs’s consciousness was rescued and had become a digital form, therefore his role was finished. However, it could mean that the star Anthony Mackie will no longer play the role of Takeshi Kovacs unless this scene is a flashback from the past.

The star Anthony Mackie doesn’t want his role in the Altered Carbon to end. He loved working with the crew and other cast members of the show. So the addition of Mackie in the third season depends on the role and as per the script of the creator.
