Altered Carbon is an American Cyberpunk internet series, directed by Laeta Kalogridis. This Netflix unique collection became primarily based totally on a unique way of means of Richard K. Though Netflix has not commented about the reason why the show has canceled. But Alison Schapker, the writer of the series, shared this information on Twitter on Aug 26, 2020. In her tweet, we find her thanking all the members who worked in this sci-fi series whether they are cast, writer, or all the crew members behind the camera.

It is likely to say that the viewership of the show was not satisfying the money invested in this high budget series. As per sources, each episode of the series cost around $7-$9 million (estimated around Rs. 52 to Rs. 65 crores). It is said that these series cost more than the first three seasons of Games Of Thrones. This can be the reason for the cancellation of the next season of the series.
